At K9 Cool Bus, we provide exceptional dog transportation and daycare services tailored for your furry friends. Our unique approach combines safe transport in a repurposed school bus with supervised playtime ensuring your dog enjoys every moment with us.
K9 Cool Bus is built around the understanding that dogs are naturally social, pack-oriented animals. Consistent, positive interaction with both people and other dogs plays an important role in raising a well-adjusted, happy companion.
With that in mind, K9 Cool Bus playgroups focus on boosting your dog’s confidence and overall well-being by encouraging calm, appropriate play in supervised and secure settings. Dogs are transported to public and privately owned settings where they enjoy supervised, structured, on or off-leash play sessions. Beyond fun, playgroups can help establish a healthier routine, reduce destructive behaviors at home, ease the transition into boarding or time away, and give pet parents some well-earned peace of mind.
During your dog’s first Meet & Greet, our team assess their play style, energy level, and temperament to ensure they’re a good fit for group interaction.
Our goal is simple: help your dog socialize, stay active, and—if all goes well—find their very own BFFF (best furry friend forever).
K9 Adventure Doggy Playgroups
Monday – Friday
Enroll your pup for one day a week or all five—it’s completely up to you. Adventure Camp/Playgroup sessions are offered in the morning or early afternoon sessions, rain or shine. Camps sessions are 2-8 hours, severe weather permitting. If conditions include extreme temperatures or heavy rain, sessions may be shortened to ensure the safety and comfort of all dogs. Includes field trips(beach walks, nature walks, park walks/private and public), swim sessions and loads of summer time fun activities!! Permission slips will be sent home to pawrents for adventures!!

2 Hour Playgroup Adventure!
Our dedicated team picks up packs of up to 6 dogs at a time from their homes, transporting them to a spacious park designed for fun and socialization. With toys and plenty of room to run, your dog will have a blast while making new friends. After a day filled with joy and adventure, we safely return your pet home, tired and happy.

Pick-Up & Drop-Off Timeframes
K9 Cool Bus picks up and drops off in 1-2 hour time windows. It is not necessary that you be home for pick-up and/or drop-off.
The pick-up and drop-off windows are intentionally flexible to accommodate variables such as weather, traffic conditions, and route adjustments. Exact timing will vary day to day. While you can request a specific time, it’s not “paws-itively” guaranteed, as road conditions and the number of pups scheduled may affect timing.

*If a Supervisor arrives to pick up for a regularly scheduled date that was not cancelled, clients will be charged for the full date.
*Weather-related cancellations are extended to 7:00 the morning of the play date with no fee.

Beach & Nature Walks (on-leash/off/pawrents discretion)
$30 for a 1-hour adventure, distance and location depending on K9’s age and physical conditioning. We realize some dogs want to go at a slower pace and not as far as some pups. Owners discretion/choice. We will group accordingly or cater to solo adventures depending on age and physical conditioning.
Home Visits/House Breaks
$15 for 15 minutes, $30 for 30 minutes(can include feeding, walking, playing in the yard/bathroom breaks
3-15 minute visits per day $40.00
4-15 minute visits per day $50.00
A fee of $10.00 per day will be added to clients over 5 miles from 02066.

Depending on the situation, dogs may join us at K9 Cool Bus during their stay, but they are never left alone for more than a few hours at a time. To book overnight care, dogs must be enrolled in our weekly recurring playgroup program, and male dogs must be neutered. All reservations are subject to staff availability.

Your pets will be picked up in the K9 COOL BUS and delivered to their destination with a confirmation email, text or PM sent to you. All pets are secured using seatbelts, creates, pet fences ect. This will ensure their safe travels. All pets are given personal attention and treated like our own pets.

Overnights
Our overnight care offers a more personal, home-style experience. 1-2 dogs stay in our home at a time and are treated like part of the family—whether that means curling up on the couch, sleeping in our beds and simply enjoying a relaxed, comfortable environment–we love it!
We handle transportation, and you provide your dog’s favorite food or you can opt for Missy’s homemade salmon, rice & greens dish, totally up to the pawrents, favorite toys, crate or k9 bed if needed.

Veterinary Appointments
Can’t get the day off to make that vet appointment! No problem we can escort your pet to and from their appointment with ease.
$30 per hour with in 10 miles of facility + $1
per extra mile.
Addition pet from same home if the appointment is at the same time… FREE
Pets will be accompanied throughout the visit then return to designated location.
Please make sure cats are crated prior to arrival. Yes, we love and transport felines as well! 🙂 Won’t be with dogs though!
State to State Transport
Adopting a pet from out of state and need them picked up from a quarantine facility or shelter let us help you with that. Or maybe just moving and don’t want to fly them we have that covered as well. We offer personal, quality one on one care of your pet. We cover MA, ME, NH, RI, CT and VT.
States covered are VT, ME, MA, NH, CT, RI, Please inquire for estimate. A two week notice is needed for trip to be planned. All transport is done in the K9 SCHOOL BUS for a more personalized and safest setting possible. Pet ramps or stairs are also an option for senior or disabled pets.
